New Diverxia project to promote clean energies and fight against depopulation

The company, which forms part of Alonso Group's Energy and Infrastructures division, has signed an agreement with the Olmedilla de Alarcón town council (Cuenca) to supply renewable energy to several municipal buildings. The initiative, in addition to being totally sustainable, is also a way of fighting rural depopulation.

The backbone concentrates on connecting the nerve centers of the maritime traffic of goods of the Iberian Peninsula through multiclient and multiproduct trains. The project has been recognized of strategic interest by the European Commission and co-financed by the European Union through the Connecting Europe Mechanism.
